This course aims to guide art professionals through creating their own website by familiarizing them with web design best practices, common web terminology, online tools for building websites and DIY strategies that will give you more control over the final product. All course work will concentrate on websites for curators and artists to present their practice in a clear and appealing way.

Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and present examples of issues they may have encountered in previous attempts at going online. No prior technical experience is necessary and students are expected to work on their project between sessions and submit any questions or issues encountered.

At the end of this course, participants will have a completed website and the tools to confidently present either their own work or curated projects online.
