Session 1. Developing a topic, selecting content and finding a form
In this session, you will learn brainstorming and mind-mapping techniques to push beyond the boundaries of your topic; as well as practical tools for gathering and organising your research. In addition to developing a compelling theme, it’s vital to consider what shape your project might take and what will be contained inside it. In the second half of the workshop, you will discover different approaches to connecting content and consider a variety of formats that support and reflect your topic.
Session 2. Engaging audiences and refining your concept
Who will your audience be? How will they interact with your project? The first half of this session focuses on the audience and their experience. You will learn techniques to understand your audiences better and to, in turn, develop an engaging project for them. The second half of the session is all about honing and refining your project concept. You will learn how to clarify your project so that it can be communicated with ease.
Live captioning will be available during the video conference.
