Workshop duration: 2 sessions, 4hrs each

In recent times, new forms of curating have emerged that call for deeper, collaborative, and inclusive ways to work with and relate to artists and curators. The art world has shifted from a top-down curatorial approach to constellations created by artist-curator relations. How can we get involved with each other? How to work together and foster long-term relationships? How to co-produce projects that reflect deep engagement with and understanding of artists’ work?

This two-part workshop will first highlight different types of creative collaborations, effective communication and best practices. Secondly, it will incorporate a variety of creative games and techniques that are designed to strengthen collaborations. Through these theoretical and practical approaches, you will be equipped with the necessary tools to cultivate deep and meaningful artist-curator relationships.
